Aid and Abet, a charity staffed by volunteers who have spent time in prison, met with Neil Findlay MSP last week.
Kevin Neary and Donald Tumilowicz of Aid and Abet met the Lothian MSP in the Scottish Parliament where they detailed their work and future plans to a lively event.
The charity works with people leaving prison and subsequently living anywhere in the Edinburgh/Lothian area.
The charity is committed to helping those recently released from prison and seeks to provide them with advice and support from individuals who have been through the same experiences as them.
People who the charity work with are given real life examples of people who have turned their life around, preventing yet more people going through the revolving door back into the prison system.
