Local Lothian MSP Neil Findlay has encouraged his constituents to get involved in Adult Learners Week, which will run between 5th and 11th of September.
This year, Scotland’s Learning Partnership will be hosting a series of online events to mark their five days of celebration. There will be morning and afternoon events running on topics such as connecting with other learners across the world, participation and adult learning and health.
The morning sessions are open for everyone to attend, however the afternoon sessions are run for learners by learners.
Neil Findlay MSP said:
“I wish the Scottish Learning Partnership the best of luck in carrying out Adult Learners’ Week 2020 under very unusual circumstances this year.
“This is a fantastic opportunity to celebrate adult learning and is a lesson that learning can take place at any age. I would encourage all of my constituents to get involved and attend the series of online events on offer.
