Neil Findlay MSP for Lothian has welcomed the news that Livingston based factory, API Foils, has found a buyer, saving over 100 jobs.
The factory, which makes foils for packaging, closed its doors abruptly at the end of January, instantly making 107 workers redundant. However, these jobs have now been saved, with a new buyer secured this week.
Local MSP Neil Findlay has welcomed this as a win for the local economy in West Lothian, and most importantly for API Foils employees.
Neil Findlay MSP said:
“I am relieved to see that progress has been made and a buyer has been found for API foils.
“It is incredibly important that we keep well-paid, secure jobs in West Lothian in order to boost the local economy here.
