Neil Findlay visited the Lothian Multiple Sclerosis Therapy Centre in Leith this week.
The centre empowers and enables people to actively manage their daily lives.
They have been providing support services with and for people living with multiple sclerosis (MS) across the Lothians, Borders and Fife since 1984.
Around 7 people per every 100,000 in Lothian will develop MS over the course of a year.
Neil Findlay said:
“It was fantastic to visit the Lothian MS Therapy Centre, and I learned a great deal about the issues facing the staff and service users there. Organisations like this empower and enable people living with conditions like MS to actively manage their lives
“If you are newly diagnosed or just looking for information or someone who needs a bit of extra support and advice about managing symptoms the brilliant staff at the MS Therapy Centre will be happy to help you”
