Local MSP and Councillor Campaigning to Save West Lothian Tax Jobs

The campaign to save the tax offices at Bathgate and Livingston saw Neil Findlay MSP and Bathgate Councillor Harry Cartmill last week out campaigning in Bathgate.

The campaign to save the tax jobs and keep them in Bathgate and Livingston has won cross party support and the campaign to retain the jobs in West Lothian is continuing unabated.

It really is vital that these jobs are retained in West Lothian. Our local economy needs the jobs whilst the workers impacted need them to be kept here in West Lothian. If they move to Edinburgh it is clear that it will neither be in the interests of workers or indeed West Lothian as a whole.

I was delighted to be out campaigning with Harry Cartmill, and rest assured myself, Harry and the wider West Lothian Labour Party will be doing all we can to work alongside others to help try and keep these tax offices and the accompanying jobs in West Lothian.
