Neil Findlay MSP: MAKING EARTH HOUR 2017 MATTER

posts_nation_(8).jpg

Neil Findlay MSP is making WWF’s Earth Hour matter this year by showing his support for a strong Climate Change Plan for Scotland.

This year’s switch off event takes place at 8.30pm on Saturday 25 March.  Around the world homes, workplaces and iconic landmarks will be going dark for an hour in the world’s biggest demonstration of support for action on climate change.

In Scotland, Edinburgh Castle, Forth Rail Bridge, Falkirk Wheel and the Kelpies are just a few of our famous landmarks marking the hour.

Neil Findlay MSP said:

Climate change is probably the biggest challenge facing humanity, which is saying something. It is so important that we all recognise that we all have a part to play in fighting the threat of climate change. Earth hour is an initiative that reminds people of climate change and what we as individuals, organisations and society can do to combat it. I am delighted that Earth Hour is capturing the public imagination across Scotland. I for one will be adding my support.
