‘Make May Purple for Stroke’, the annual stroke awareness month was in the Scottish Parliament last week. Local MSP Neil Findlay was on hand to welcome the stroke association and to help encourage people to show their support for people who have been affected by a stroke.
Neil Findlay MSP said:
Having a stroke is one of the most devastating experiences that anyone can endure. I was delighted to speak to the Stroke Association in the Parliament last week and to support their campaign to show support for those who are affected. It’s a really worthwhile campaign to help raise funds for the research that is required to continually help those people who have suffered from a stroke to have the best possible recovery.
