Pupils from P6 at Riverside Primary School, Livingston visited the Scottish Parliament last week to learn about democracy in Scotland.

The children enjoyed a guided tour of the Parliament and a chat from local MSPs explaining their work in the Parliament.

Along the way the pupils met with local Labour MSP Neil Findlay, who said:

“It’s always a pleasure to get schools into the Parliament so they can see the democratic process in action.

“I was delighted to speak to the kids from Riverside Primary who were a credit to their school and their teacher”
