The latest closure of a branch of the RBS in West Lothian has been condemned by local MSP Neil Findlay.
The proposal by RBS to close their branch is the latest in a series of closures in West Lothian, including at Fauldhouse, Broxburn, Armadale and West Calder.
I utterly condemn this latest planned closure in Whitburn. RBS has shown contempt for people in Whitburn in the same that they have for customers across West Lothian.
Time and time again they have broken their promise to be the last bank standing in local towns and villages. West Lothian people have been loyal customers to RBS over the years but sadly this loyalty has been cast aside by RBS who have completely forgotten about the needs of their West Lothian customer base. I would expect that people in West Lothian will not forget being treated with such contempt by RBS.
