Local MSP Neil Findlay is marking 30 years of Macmillan coffee mornings to raise funds for those living with cancer.
This year – as a result of the continuing coronavirus pandemic – the charity is urging people to continue to raise awareness and vital funds for those living what they have called ‘the forgotten C’ – cancer.
In order to mark the occasion, the charity is asking people to host or take part in a socially distanced or virtual coffee morning.
Scottish Labour MSP Neil Findlay said:
“It is true that throughout this pandemic, cancer has not gone away. Many people are still living with this horrendous illness every day in very tough circumstances.
“That is why it has never been more important to #RaiseAMug this weekend to raise awareness and money to support those living with cancer.
