Local MSP Neil Findlay met with Armed Forces charity, SSAFA, in the Scottish Parliament last week where he noted his support for their vision that the armed forces, veterans and their families are looked after.
The SSAFA sets out to ensure that members of the armed forces community are treated with dignity following their immense service to the country. The charity offers a range of support services to those in need of it.
Neil Findlay was keen to show his support to the charity’s objectives.
Neil Findlay MSP said:
“The armed forces have made tremendous sacrifices to serve the country and they should therefore be treated with the utmost dignity. The SSAFA works tirelessly to ensure that veterans, alongside members of the armed forces, and their families are supported and treated with care and compassion.
