Last week, Neil Findlay MSP helped to promote Marie Curie by supporting the launch of the ‘Great Daffodil Appeal’ in the Scottish Parliament.
Marie Curie is a charity that provides specialised care to people with terminal illnesses, in addition to providing their families with much needed support.
The Great Daffodil appeal is an annual fundraiser for the charity whereby supporters can purchase a daffodil pin in exchange for a donation.
Neil Findlay MSP said:
“The annual Great Daffodil Appeal is so necessary to support the fantastic work that Marie Curie does for people who are reaching the end of their life.
“The support, care and compassion of Marie Curie professionals, in addition to their expert knowledge, can make an incredibly difficult and tragic time a little bit easier.
“I was more than delighted to support this campaign and the work Marie Curie do all year round.
